For people who miss WavTool
A browser studio where you could type what you wanted and have an assistant do it on your actual project. Nothing to install, nothing to render and re-import. That was WavTool, and it went dark in 2024. Here is the closest thing to it that is alive.

WavTool launched in March 2023 as a full digital audio workstation that ran in a browser tab: tracks, a timeline, VST plugins, recording, stem separation, and a chat assistant called Conductor that could edit your session when you asked it to. It raised money, it got press, and for a while it was the best answer to the question "can I make music in a browser with an AI helping me?"
Then the site went offline, with a note that everything people loved about it "will return soon". In June 2025 Suno announced it had acquired WavTool and its team, and folded the technology into what became Suno Studio. There is no standalone WavTool to sign up for today, and the browser DAW with a chat assistant that its users had is not what Suno sells.

Not as a product you can sign up for. The site shows a notice saying it has been taken offline and will return. Suno announced on June 26, 2025 that it had acquired WavTool and its team, and the technology went into Suno's own editing tools and Suno Studio.
